PDF tools

Which Tool Do You Need?

  • Merge — combine several PDFs (or scanned pages) into one document, in the order you choose.
  • Split — pull a range of pages out of a PDF into a new file, for example one chapter or a signature page.
  • Compress — shrink a PDF by optimising its structure. Best for documents exported from Office; image-heavy scans benefit less.
  • Rotate — fix pages that scanned in upside-down or sideways, all at once or one page at a time.

Need to do several? You can split a document, rotate the part that needs it, then merge everything back together — all without your files ever leaving your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these PDF tools free and private?

Yes. Every tool is free with no sign-up, and your PDF is read and rebuilt entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib JavaScript library — nothing is uploaded to a server. They keep working offline once the page has loaded.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no server limit because nothing is uploaded. The practical limit is your device memory: very large PDFs (hundreds of megabytes) may be slow on a low-memory phone or laptop, but typical documents are instant.

Do these tools change my document content?

No. Pages are copied or re-saved without re-rendering, so text stays selectable and images and fonts are untouched. Rotation only sets a page flag, and compression optimises structure without re-encoding images — there is no quality loss.
